It's currently in beta, and you have to download a zipped folder from the Contour website, unzip it, restart your computer, and then click on the "ContourMouse.cpl" file to open it. There are a few annoyances that keep this otherwise novel and comfortable mouse from earning an excellent rating. You can get around this by holding the mouse more firmly with your hand while you click, but it's an added step that I never remembered to perform during my time with the Unimouse. The problem with clicking on an angled button, especially when the Unimouse is at its maximum nearly vertical angle, is that the force of your clicking motion moves the mouse a tiny bit to the left, which in turn moves the cursor and makes you click on something you didn't intend to. This took some getting used to, since ring fingers typically don't do anything while you're mousing, but I eventually perfected the technique. I programmed the right-most button to perform the right-click function, and clicked it with my ring finger. On a normal mouse, I would have to physically move my middle finger over to the left-click button to get relief. I programmed the middle button on the Unimouse as an additional left-click button, so that I could left-click using either my pointer finger or my middle finger without moving them.
That's a huge benefit for people like me, whose pointer finger sometimes starts to ache after a long day of clicking. There are three roughly equal-sized buttons instead of the usual left- and right-click layout that you'll find on most conventional mice. Another advantage over the Logitech is the Unimouse's button layout.
